October 14-15, 2020 in Minsk on the initiative of the industry magazine Product. The sixth export forum "Belarus Dairy" was held by and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
According to the general recognition of the participants, the event has reached a new level. From a platform for discussion and exchange of opinions, it has turned into an industry platform where new inspiring solutions are born as a result of the integration of practical experience, market analysis, scientific, technical and technological innovations. This year, Belarus Dairy gathered more than 250 offline participants in two days. And there was also a record number of participants from Belarus for all six years of this forum.
The working program, designed for two days, was filled with up-to-date information, business and friendly communication. After a long period of disunity, the latter was especially important and valuable for the majority of delegates. And the fact that many speakers spoke in an online format did not prevent creating an atmosphere of direct dialogue. Discussions in all sections turned out to be very fruitful. Moreover, thanks to modern means of communication, it was possible to attract experts who find it difficult to find time for face-to-face participation due to heavy workload.
The highlight of the program for specialists of enterprises was the speeches of Russian colleagues: Candidate of Technical Sciences, Rosstandart expert Larisa Abdullayeva, Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the Laboratory of Standardization, Metrology and Patent licensing works of VNIMI Irina Makeeva, Ph.D., Head of the Department of cheese-making of VNIIMS Valentina Mordvinova, Ph.D., head of the laboratory of technochemical control of VNIMI Elena Yurova. Suppliers in the Russian Federation and the EAEC countries received answers to many questions from the field of Union legislation, labeling, law enforcement practice, etc.
Boris Agatov, an expert on innovations in retail, drew futuristic pictures related to digital transformations in front of the participants of the seminar on marketing and sales. But Anastasia Rastorgueva, CEO of Altan, gave detailed practical instructions on how to establish trade in high-margin dairy products in Chinese retail and online. And they also talked a lot about modern trends, challenges, and new opportunities. The result, as one of the listeners noted, is "a break in patterns, and that's why people come to the forum – for fresh thoughts, for inspiration."
JSC "Kobrin Butter and Cheese Factory" was a special guest at this forum. In addition to our already beloved elite cheeses, we presented a new Raclette cheese with slug mold for tasting. The cheese was presented in the traditions of its consumption: it was served in a melted form in a raclette on baked potatoes with the addition of toasted seafood. The very originality of the presentation and the unforgettable taste of cheese made a real sensation among colleagues and partners of the plant.
One of the highlights is honoring the laureates of the "100 Export Roads" award for the best export achievements by the end of 2019. Our chief technologist Snezhanna Kuzmenya was also awarded in the Golden Hands nomination for the result of creativity and painstaking work of the technological service headed by her – consistently high quality products for decades, bright premieres of mature cheeses " (Mont Blanc, Parma, Raclette).
The leaders of folk tastings received their moment of glory as part of the "Champion of Taste 2020" competition. Among them, of course, is JSC "Kobrin butter and cheese Factory".
The delegates of the forum were able to taste the best samples-the winners of the competition. Many noted the really great taste of the products and the original packaging.
